I went with Tara to get her latest tattoo on Thursday. I asked her if I could come because I wanted to see it done, be there for support, and because I wanted to take pictures!! She was supposed to have it done on Saturday but the guy who was doing it had a family emergency and asked if she could come in earlier to get it done. Her appointment was at 6:30 pm so we got there and waited for the guy to get it started. He had to draw her tattoo up again and it took him FOR.EVER! He was just messing around, not in any rush to get it done. He also kept arguing with Tara about the size and layout of it, he really was a creep! He finally started the tattoo at 8:00!! The place was kind of creepy! She, Cody and I couldn't wait to get out of there! The whole tattoo only took about 45 minutes or so. It looks awesome!

Lu's Dance Competition
went to watch Elizabeth at one of the dance competitions last weekend in Syracuse. She is doing a solo this year and it is SUPER cute! She is so sassy and fun to watch! She was so funny after we watched girls around her age and older girls do their solos and they have their teachers in front of them doing the steps to remind them of where they are in their dance. She did NOT think that was okay when she can remember her dance all by herself and doesn't need any help. She kept saying to me "the judges are right there, should I go tell them the teachers are helping them?"

She did her solo on Friday night and then it was team competition all day Saturday. Her team dances are so cute. Most of the teams had the same costumes which are funky tutus, t-shirts and funky Converse shoes for the hip hop dances. I think Lu's teams hip hop dance was the best in their division, it is ADORABLE!
I got to spend a little time Friday night with DJ, my favorite boy! He was so excited to see me and he was so well behaved there all night.
Noah and his friend, Jackson were there, too. They were really good considering they are 9 year old boys at a dance competition...not their favorite place!!I don't know when this little boy grew into a young man. It breaks my heart that I wasn't able to be around to watch him, Elizabeth and DJ grow up for the past 2 plus years. He holds such a special place in my heart. Those 3 kids mean the world to me!
Elizabeth did so well with her solo she won Queen!! We were shocked because she was up against a girl who did some back handsprings and some other gymnastics in her solo. She was so excited!
This is after we got done on Saturday with the team competition and the poor girl was all tuckered out.
I love watching her develop into such a great dancer and watching her dance brings tears to my eye every time (which she laughed at me when I told her she made me cry)! It's something she loves so much and that's the best part!
On my way home Saturday night, my car broke down. So I called Josh just sobbing. I sat at the Willard Flying J for a while waiting for Josh, Cody and Tara to come get me. I was sitting next to a mosquito breeding pool and saw some HUGE bugs. I was so glad I was in my car!
I was so happy to see them when they finally got there! We got the car going again and we were on our way home!

Baby Animal Day With The Boys
Last weekend my mom and I went with Brittiney and the boys to Baby Animal Days. Brittiney's parents and sister came with us, too. It was kind of cold and windy but we had lots of fun. Branson wasn't really into petting any of the animals or being around them at all. He was more into acting silly and kicking poop on Brittiney's feet! I don't know how the girl handles those two boys, they keep her so busy and she does great!
We had a couple of Branson breakdowns. But overall he did really good and was happy!
Brittiney put some tattoos on both the boys. Branson got his in the middle of his forehead.
And Gavin got his on his cheek.
The sun came out towards the end of the day and it was so nice and warm!! We had a great time being with Brittiney and they boys.
And a little update on my half marathon training. It's been going really good and I've gotten better at running long distances at a time. I haven't been able to train for the past week due to being sick, but I'll be back at it starting tomorrow. I've got lots of running to catch up on!

And Gavin was so smiley and happy the whole time.
And he threw up on Grandma!
We got to see some adorable baby bears that were there from Bear World. They had three 3 month old baby bears. The guy said they each weighed about 10 pounds and would get up to about 500 pounds. They were so cute!Brittiney put some tattoos on both the boys. Branson got his in the middle of his forehead.

Jazz Game
On Tuesday night we went down to a Jazz game with my parents and Jade and Brit. My mom bought us all tickets for my dad's birthday.
We got down there pretty early so we could go get some dinner before the game at California Pizza Kitchen. Josh and I found a lot to park in right across the street from the ESA and we saw some people lined up at the players' entrance. We went over there to see if maybe we could see someone while we were waiting for everyone else to get there. This nice, white Acura pulled in with black tinted windows. The car stops and the window roll down and it was DERON WILLIAMS! People were giving him Jazz stuff to sign. We didn't have anything to sign although I could have had him sign my shirt, so I just took his picture. My hands were shaking, I couldn't believe he was right in front of me. He was so nice and signed everybody's things.
It was such a stressful game and it went into overtime and the Jazz won! It was so loud in there for the last two quarter and overtime. Everyone was yelling and I lost my voice, but it was worth it!

We went and had dinner then headed back to see the game. It was such a fun game to be at, even though it was very stressful! I love being there and being in the moment of the game, it was so fun!

I'm so happy we could all go together and have fun. Thanks for the tickets mom, now we need to go to the playoffs!

Easter Festivities
We spent the Easter weekend with my family this year. On Saturday night we had the annual egg dying festivities. It's one of the many traditions that we have that I love. We had lots of fun and laughed like always when we all get together.
I love Easter. I'm thankful for the blessings I have in my life. My husband, our furbabies, our families, our friends, the list goes on and on. I'm thankful for the sacrifices Christ made for me and all of us and we have the chance to live with Him again.

On Sunday we went with Cody, Tara and Atty to see The Clash Of The Titans. Josh and I didn't like the movie at all. We're always up for movies with our besties though! Then we headed back up to my parents' house to have Easter dinner. It was yummy like always.I love Easter. I'm thankful for the blessings I have in my life. So Not Funny
April Fool's Day brought with it a not very funny joke. This morning at about 5:30 am I woke up when our power went out and one of our surge protectors was beeping because it wasn't getting any power. That sound always freaks Wrinkles out and she starts panting and wants to go outside. When I went in to shut the surge protector off I saw tons of snow outside on the tree branches. I crawled back in bed trying to get the snow out of my mind. When it was time to get up, the power was still off. I took the dogs outside and couldn't believe what I saw...MORE SNOW.
My poor crocus' and tulips, I hope they survive this terrible cold spell. By the time I got home from work, some of the snow had melted. I went out to check on my flowers. The crocus' did pop their little heads out form under the snow.
It is still bitter cold outside. Mother Nature, this joke is so not funny.
