One Fun Night

My sister and her fiance came home this weekend from Twin Falls. It was so fun to hang out with her and Brian. Chelsie wanted Tiny Spicy Chicken really bad since they don't have it anywhere in Twin Falls (weird) so we went to Mandarin Garden. Then we decided to go bowling at The Gutter. It took forever to get a lane but it was a lot of fun when we did. I haven't been bowling in like 3 years but it was tons of fun. It is like cosmic bowling where they have the black lights and have the balls that light up in the black lights. Jade and Chelsie tied for last place in the first game (he got beat by his big sister and his wife). Then I came in last on the second game. We played some arcade games at The Fun Park when we were done bowling and Josh won Deal Or No Deal. He got 200 tickets and as we were looking for what to get with his tickets he decided to get the "surprise bag". It was the most pathetic prize ever. It had some candy in it from like 1982 and this little styrofoam plane. Jade also won some tickets and he decided to get the plane, too. Then they went outside to fly their planes. Here it is midnight in the dead of winter and we are outside flying these little styrofoam planes trying to get them to do tricks! WE ARE SO COOL!! It was a fun night and I love spending time with my family. I wish my sister came home more often. I love her and am so happy she was here.

Birthday Weekend

We have celebrated my birthday all weekend it seems like!! We went to my brother and sis in law's house yesterday for Sunday dinner. It was really fun. My mom made me lasagna and homemade garlic cheese bread she made from scratch with her KitchenAid. The food was awesome!! I love hanging out with my family! Then today we went down to SLC to see Shannon's family and our nephew Tycen. We had yummy Ruby Tuesday for my birthday dinner there! I got a Jazz shirt, money and Bath and Body Works stuff. It was so fun to see the kids and see little baby Tycen. We haven't seen him since Thanksgiving and he is so big. He is sick with pneumonia right now but still so cute!!

Happy Birthday To Me

Well today is my birthday. I am now 26. I'm getting old!! I still feel like I am 21! We went to my great grandma's funeral this afternoon, then we celebrated by going out to dinner with Cody & Tara to Iggy's. Dinner was lots of fun and we didn't get horrible service like we did for Josh's birthday at Red Lobster. I think it was because Cody decided he wasn't going to let bad service ruin my birthday!:) Iggy's was packed, though. I got a new CTR ring that I needed desperately. My old one was looking pretty rough. Cody and Tara gave me an awesome autographed picture of Alanis Morissette, it's so cool!! I got a gift card to Iggy's and money. It was a good birthday. Tomorrow we are having Sunday dinner with my family for my birthday at Jade and Brit's. Should be fun!

Happy Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's Day everyone!! Hope your day is filled with love. Josh and I don't put too much effort into Valentine's day cause we don't think you should show your love on only one day a year but he did get me some flowers! What a sweety! Love you all and hope you had a good Valentine's Day!

Super Bowl

We went to my mom and dad's today to watch the Super Bowl. It was mellow. Josh and I played Life again with Jade and Brittiney and Josh won again! We had homemade pizza and lots of munchies. It was fun. Some of the commercials were funny, that's why we watch the game anyway, right?! I wanted the Patriots to win cause I love the Red Sox so I have to root for the New England teams. At about the second quarter I found out that DJ was in the ER with pneumonia again. He had that about 3 weeks ago and he was one sick little boy. So they rushed him to Primary Children's ER and they said he has pneumonia, the flu, a blood infection and a sinus infection. They put on ice pack on him cause he had a fever of 103 degrees and had an IV. They also stuck tubes down his nose to pull some of the infection out of his lungs. He is really sick, but his pediatrician said he could go home and has put him on some strong antibiotics. I hope he gets better soon!

Dinner with the Bachman's

We went to dinner with Shannon and her family on Saturday to Red Lobster. It was yummy!! The kids are getting so big and I miss them so much. DJ was attached to me all night and is talking so much. There is nothing cuter than his little voice!! Noah is getting so much older. He is really into karate and had become more independent as he has gotten older. Elizabeth was more quiet last night. It was kind of weird but they were also really tired. I love the Bachman's. Shannon is Josh's cousin but I feel like she is my big sister. She is always there when I need to talk and get my frustrations out. I don't know what we would do if we didn't have them in our lives.

The Game Of Life

We went to my brother and sister-in-laws Friday night to hang out and play some games. We played Let's Make a Deal and Life. Let's Make a Deal was from like the 70's so all the prizes were pretty funny. Like a fridge that had a tape player built into it and some other crazy old prizes. They had a new version of Life that was really fun. You have a credit card instead of keeping track of all your money and having to count it all up at the end. It was a really fun game. I am not one who likes to play games very much but Life is a good one. I just don't like the kind of games that make a fool out of you like Cranium. I HATE Cranium. I know, I'm crazy but that's me.
