What A Week

Where do I start?! It's been a busy week around here. I finally got my camera back on Wednesday. Josh called me at work and said a package arrived that I would be very happy about! I couldn't wait to get home from work to see her!! She works great now, as far as I can tell.

Josh had a softball game on Thursday. He wasn't having a very good game because he wasn't feeling very well. He did have a great hit though, in an effort to tie the game. But Sunshine Terrace ended up losing again. They haven't won a game yet but there have been a lot of "almosts".

Friday was also the last day at my job. It was a very hard day. I will miss working with everybody there and miss the clients. It was really hard to say goodbye to the clients, especially our little hispanic ladies. Even though we don't understand them that well and they don't understand us, they definitely became my favorites! I've learned a lot of spanish in the last six months and you would think after taking 2 years of spanish in high school I would have remembered more than I do!! We had a party with cake and ice cream and a lot of people from the community came to support us. I thought I was okay until 3pm came and some of our clients started to leave then Becca and I were all tears. Now I start another job at an assisted living center. It will be an interesting month to say the least. Josh finished his Ultimate Loser competition at our gym this week. I'm so proud of him and what he has accomplished in the last 8 weeks. We went to his final results meeting this morning for everybody to get their awards and find out which team won. Josh was the Biggest Loser out of everybody. He lost 47.8 pounds and lost 29.25 inches!! He did so amazing!! His team didn't win though, they came in second. But Josh is my winner! You'll have to go check out his blog for more info.

Happy Birthday to my little sister. She turned 21 yesterday and is in Jackpot with my parents celebrating!

First Day of Summer!

It's finally here, I was beginning to wonder if it would ever come but here it is!! Summer is finally here, yay!! It had been so cold up here in Cache Valley and to have the warmth is so nice! I went and saw this movie today with Tara and Atty.It was really cute and Jack Black did a good job!

Then Josh and I invited Cody, Tara and Atty to go swimming with us. It was so warm but the swimming pool was freezing! Josh and Atticus get so competitive when they are together, they were doing all these swimming competitions. Then we got in the hot tub and it was so nice to be in warm water! Thanks guys for coming with us! Also finished this book this week and loved it!! I didn't know for sure at first if I would like it because I thought it was kind of sci-fi and I'm not into that stuff at all. The book totally took me by surprise and just pulled me in! It was really good. The love story was so captivating and I almost didn't want it to end because I knew I would cry. So I ended up reading the last few pages of the book (at the gym, on the bike, trying so hard not to let anyone see my tears) and was so happy with the way it ended! Stephanie Meyer is such a talented writer! The fourth Twilight book comes out in just over a month and I am so excited!!

I hope you got to Connecticut okay and that they are treating you nicely there!

I hope you will feel better when you get home!
When you come home we will spend lots of time together again!
I know you were feeling blue because I was talking about getting you a sister camera but you will always be my favorite because you were my first!;)

For those of you who don't know...
My camera had to go back to Connecticut to go to the doctor.
She wasn't focusing and had lines through her pictures so they guys at Best Buy said she needed to get fixed. I miss her...so there won't be any pictures on here until she gets back, then it will be picture business as usual.

Happy Birthday to Rosie, my wonderful second mom! I hope you have a great day. I'm so lucky to have you as my mom-in-law. You are so kind and I am so glad you are here so we can see you more often now! Thanks for raising such a great boy. My life would not be the same if it weren't for Josh! Happy Father's Day to all the men out there!! Hope you all have a good one!!

Happy Father's Day to my dad! I love him so much and feel so blessed to have him in my life! No matter what I need, he can always find a way to help me! He was such a great dad growing up, always going to the many dance competitions with the video camera getting every dance on tape. The drill team competitions and performances, all my basketball and volleyball games he was there, cheering me on! Thank you dad for everything you have taught me over the years. Thanks putting up with me through the teenage years, I know those were some rough years!;) Also thank you for my hair, even though some days I hate them, the curls are definitely a part of me that makes me who I am. Thanks for everything Dad, I love you.

Where's The Fish??

Saturday was "Free Fishing Day" in Utah and Idaho, so you could fish without having to buy a license. We decided to go fishing with my brother and his wife out at Newton Dam. It was FREEZING!! I am confused, is it June or March around here?! It has been cold for like the past week! I have been looking back at pictures from a year ago and we are outside playing in the water with tank tops on! (Well at least I had a tank top on, not Josh.) The wind was blowing and it kept trying to rain. We didn't catch anything, not that I really wanted to...I didn't have a pole in the water. Just Josh, Jade and Brittiney did. I read my book, The Host. ~So good!~ We sat out there for about 3 hours without even a bite!! I used to go fishing all the time with my dad when I was little. He called me his "little fishin' buddy". I think I would just wander around, not really fish, although I'm sure I had a pole in the water.
